Dear Students:

This is a very late post, and you should all be in bed by now! However, I try to post something every day.

Thank you to all of you that are taking the time to read the blog. Sadly it isn't very many people 😢

Hopefully, you have all tried to log into D2L and Google Drive. I have added you all to Classroom, so you can read my first message.

I need you to know that I really miss seeing your eager faces and the fun we have learning in the classroom. But these extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. Just know that we are all in this together and I am always here to support you! Reach out and contact me anytime.

I have had a request for Puzzles of the Day. I will share a google slideshow with new puzzles that you can try. Let me know what you think? If you come across some good puzzles, make sure you share them and I will post those as well.

I look forward to seeing and hearing from you all soon!

Love,
Ms. Evans 😁

March 30 - Welcome Back To "School"

Today and Tomorrow I will be phoning each family to ask some specific questions to get a better idea of how we can help support student learning. The Grade 3/4 Team will be sending out an assignment on Thursday to test out our systems. Please go to D2L if you are looking for some extra activities.

Last Day of Spring Break!

Tomorrow the teachers are back at work figuring out how to give you some learning opportunities from a distance. I'll be getting a hold of everyone this week to ask you some questions so I can support you in the best ways possible.

Thursday, March 19

Today, one of your parents should have received an email from Get Epic, inviting you to sign up for a free at-home account until June 30.  Get Epic is a great alternative for home use, as it has great books you can read!  If you did not get the email, please check your junk/spam or email me and I can resend it to you.

Have fun!

Weird Times!

We are moving into uncharted territory with this virus and how we need to deal with the spread of it within our community. As you probably have heard already, school has been suspended for now. Teachers are still going to work and we will hear soon how we can support our students.

I will be sending regular posts to keep everyone updated, and the school will be sending messages via messenger as the need to communicate arises.

In the meantime, enjoy time with family, reading, and playing in the snow.
